Have you been referred to see a specialist? Read the following information to see what happens next for referrals to Dermatology, Gynaecology and Musculoskeletal problems.

A new specialist service is available to GP practices in the Bromley Borough. Your GP has requested that a clinical specialist reviews your case. This specialist will decide which would be the most appropriate service to see you about your condition, This may be in one of the new community specialist services or a hospital based service. In some cases, the specialist may offer advice to your GP to help them to manage your condition.

Within 8-10 days you should be contacted by the Bromley Patient Referral Centre to discuss with you a convenient date and time for your appointment. Please make sure your GP has your current contact details. This will avoid any delays in getting hold of you.

Please provide:

  • a daytime contact number e.g. mobile number or landline telephone no
  • your home address

If you have any questions about the timing or location of the clinic then please tell the staff when they contact you. For questions relating to your medical condition, please contact your GP.

Your feedback on this new collaboration is important to us. If you are referred into the community service, you will be asked about your views and experience of the service at the end of the treatment. Your comments will help to guide us and improve healthcare.
