Practice Management

Mrs Ghislaine la Grange

The practice manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The practice manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.

Administration

Balbir & Caroline

Administrative staff are involved in a lot of work behind the scenes to allow the practice to run smoothly. Their role includes supporting the GPs, dealing with medical reports, scanning and attaching documents to patients medical records and coding medical diagnoses.

Sarah & Caroline

Care Navigators provide support, advice and information for patients at the surgery. They help patients have a better understanding of services and resources available and can help with referring patients to some services.  They offer a 1:1 support in confidence for our patients and communicate with your GP and other services about your care.

Reception

Mrs Julie Jervis (Reception Supervisor)

Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists make the majority of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses. They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions, dealing with prescription enquiries and dealing with patient registrations.

Secretaries

Joy & Anna

Our medical secretaries provide a crucial link between the practice and services in the community and in the hospital. Amongst other tasks they are responsible for compiling and sending all practice correspondence (e.g. referral letters), handling patient queries, and liaising with other healthcare professionals.
